During the summer at St. Stephen’s and St. Barnabas, we lean into our bilingual identity in creative ways during Sunday services.  We try to reduce the amount of language that needs to be translated and find more accessible ways to comfortably worship together.  

This Sunday, July 11th, at 11:00 am, is Sing-along Sunday.  Instead of prayers, readings, an affirmation of faith, a confession,  and sermon, we’ll simply sing together. Simple songs in Spanish. Simple songs in English. We’ll follow that with communion and a coffee hour filled with beverages, snacks and good conversation.

Durante el verano en St. Stephen's y St. Barnabas, nos apoyamos en nuestra identidad bilingüe de manera creativa durante los servicios dominicales. Intentamos reducir la cantidad de lenguaje que necesita ser traducido y encontrar formas más accesibles de adorar juntos cómodamente.

Este domingo 11 de julio, a las 11:00 am, vamos a cantar. En lugar de oraciones, lecturas, una afirmación de fe, una confesión y un sermón, simplemente cantaremos juntos. Canciones sencillas en Español e Inglés. Seguiremos con la comunión y una hora de café y conversación con bebidas, y bocadillos.
