If you want to know what kind of church St. Stephen's is, you have to get to know the people in the pews. At St. Stephen's, there are English speakers, Spanish speakers, former Catholics, recovering fundamentalists, atheists, agnostics, mystics, and misfits. Somehow, this church is the sacred space where they've chosen to build a beautiful community.
To honor that community and tell the real story of what St. Stephen's is, means, and can be, #humansofststephens is back, this time in video form.
So... meet Laura - and, in the coming weeks, look forward to meeting so many more of the amazing humans of this unique little Episcopal community tucked away in Hollywood in the shadow of the dueling steeples of Capitol Records and the far more architecturally impressive First Presbyterian Church.
Then maybe come see us on Sunday.
