St. Stephen's is proud to be working to rekindle a welcoming, compassionate, creative Episcopal community in Eagle Rock! For the past year, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church has been dormant, its doors closed and its congregation in flux.
Father Jaime, an Eagle Rock community member, has been asked by the Bishop and the Diocese to help reinvigorate the church through worship and innovative connection to this wonderful neighborhood. We're excited to explore the ways St. Stephen's can help rebuild St. Barnabas so that it and the community of Eagle Rock can thrive!
You can keep up with latest from St. Barnabas here.
It was a tearful Sunday as we said "see you soon" to our dear friend the Rev. Holly Cardone and wished her well as she begins her new role as rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Fullerton.
This community has been forever transformed by the love, care, and leadership that Holly has offered in her past 5 years of service alongside Father Jaime. While we will miss her dearly, we can't wait to see and support the amazing community and initiatives she will lead in Fullerton.
All of our love and best wishes, Holly!
St. Stephen's is a community where all voices are heard. This is just a taste of what our community cares about.
